“Tona combines local seasonal ingredients and fresh seafood from around the world to provide guests a new level of culinary dining experience,” Tona’s website says. Guests can sit in the elevated dining area or at the sushi bar, where they can watch their meals being prepared.
“I ate here solely because of TripAdvisor, and it didn’t steer me wrong,” TripAdvisor user Rather_Nomadic said in a review. “I was a little concerned about eating sushi in this landlocked state, but everything was fresh and tasty. I liked the diverse options available, especially the nigiri sampler. The seaweed salad with octopus was a great appetizer.”

A family-owned and operated Italian restaurant in the heart of Ogden, Rovali’s Ristorante Italiano strives “for the very best and authentic Italian food,” according to its website. The restaurant has a full-service espresso and cocktail bar, makes all of its desserts from scratch and has gluten-free and vegetarian options.
“After a Golden Spike ceremony reenactment, a tour of Antelope Island and an interesting street walk on ‘must see’ Historic 25th Street, we found this sweet spot! First time in Ogden and this was worth our visit,” TripAdvisor user RetiredAFColonel said in a review. “(We) had two traditional Italian dishes, meatballs with pasta and seafood linguine. Meatballs were served cut flat with lots of mushrooms (and) cheese and fabulous sauce. Service was friendly and attentive. Linguine was good but a bit shy on shrimp. Overall superb though. Will add to our return list! Unique cocktails made our day!!!”

Originally called Moore’s High Country and then the High Country Fare, Jeremiah’s has been around since 1979, according to its website.
“Go here when you are hungry,” TripAdvisor user Joan W said. “It is good old fashioned food and lots of it. If you like meat and potatoes kind of meals with old fashioned homemade taste, then this is the place for you. It is one of my husband’s favorites. This is not a place where you are likely to find gourmet cooking but food more like the kind grandma used to make with real ingredients. It has wonderful breakfasts and the staple meals you like to have when you are away from home.”
