Easy hor d'oeuvre: Sugared bacon

This recipe comes from the Art of Cooking Junior League of Ogden Cookbook.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound bacon
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Instructions:

Lay sliced bacon on jelly-roll pan. Let come to room temperature (30 minutes). Paste each slice heavily with brown sugar.

Bake in 350 degrees oven until done. Remove from pan and place on brown paper to cool.
