Summer BBQ Chicken Tacos

This recipe comes from JLO Art of Cooking Junior League of Ogden Cookbook.

Ingredients:

  • 8-12 chicken breasts, boned and skinned
  • 1 c. fresh lime juice
  • 1 c. white vinegar
  • 1 c. corn oil
  • 1 c. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. pepper
  • 1 tbsp. seasoned salt
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. sesame seeds
  • dash onion powder or green onions

Accompaniments:

  • iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • diced tomatoes
  • grated cheese
  • guacamole
  • sour cream
  • salsa
  • flour tortilla

Directions:

Mix all ingredients. Reserve 1/4 of the liquid for the tortillas. Pour over chicken and let marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator and grill.

Slice thin. Dip flour tortillas in reserved liquid and grill. Serve with accompaniments.
