Bacon asparagus wraps

INGREDIENTS:

16 asparagus spears, trimmed

16 slices uncooked bacon

1 can refrigerated crescent dinner rolls

INSTRUCTIONS:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Blanch asparagus in boiling water for 1 minute. Drain immediately; rinse with cold water. 

Wrap each bacon slice around middle of each asparagus spear. Unroll dough. Press down to form a large rectangle. Cut dough rectangle in half lengthwise; cut each half crosswise into 8 strips. 

Wrap 1 dough strip around each bacon-wrapped asparagus spear. Place on ungreased baking sheet. 

Bake until golden, 11-13 minutes.
