Make it, don't buy it: chicken nuggets

This recipe comes from the JLO Art of Cooking Junior League of Ogden Cookbook.

INGREDIENTS:
3 cups cornflakes

1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 large egg

2 tablespoons milk

1/4 teaspoon hot sauce

1 pound chicken tenders, cut into nugget shape

INSTRUCTIONS:

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Place cornflakes in large resealable plastic bag. Lay bag on flat surface and crush cornflakes, using a rolling pin. Combine cornflakes, poultry seasoning, pepper and salt in shallow bowl. In separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk and Tabasco sauce. Add several chicken nuggets at a time to egg mixture, coating well. Dredge and roll in cornflake mixture. Place on foil lined baking sheet. Generously spray chicken pieces on both sides with vegetable cooking spray. Bake nuggets for 15-18 minutes, or until cooked through. To reheat frozen nuggets, heat oven to 350 degrees. Place nuggets on baking sheet and bake 10-12 minutes.
