Riverdale Wingstop now open, MOD Pizza set to open later this month
A new development called the Riverdale Town Square is under construction at 801 W. Riverdale Rd., land owned by Homer and Phidia Cutrubus. Its largest anchor is a free-standing Hobby Lobby to the south, which should be ready to open some time in July.

Riverdale Wingstop now open, MOD Pizza set to open later this month

RIVERDALE — If you’re looking for a few new places to grab a bite to eat, look no further. 

A part of the Riverdale Town Square development, Wingstop opened its doors for business on Aug. 9.

MOD Pizza location will officially open its doors to the public at noon, Aug. 31, according to MOD Pizza public relations manager Charlotte Wayte. 

Wayte said the first 52 people at the location will receive a free pizza or salad, and all profits for the opening day will be donated to Youth Futures, a youth homeless shelter in Ogden.

The restaurants are just a few of the handful of eateries opening in the development. Other restaurants opening in the area include Chipotle, Jersey Mike’s Subs and Habit Burger, which opened in June.

The Riverdale development is anchored by a new Hobby Lobby location, which officially opened July 31.

The MOD Pizza in Riverdale is one of four of its kind to open in the state this year, according to a company news release. Another area location for the pizza chain opened in Woods Cross in July.
