Where to get doughnuts, cookies and sweets in Northern Utah, Ogden area

September 9, 2017

Bye bye, beach bod. Hello, sweater weather — and scrumptious, sugary comfort foods.

Nothing goes with the start of fall like a hot beverage and a freshly baked pastry. Northern Utah has its share of shops specializing in cupcakes, doughnuts and other starchy, carb-laden goodness. This is by no means a definitive list — these are just a few businesses that are Utah-based, locally owned and conveniently located in Northern Utah.

We’re not ones to hate on a doughnut, as we have regional places like Kneaders and nationwide favorites like Krispy Kreme or Dunkin Donuts. We’re just highlighting a couple places unique to the Wasatch Front.

These places specialize specifically in bakery products and offer walk-in treats, perfect for a quick impromptu stop or to catch up with a close friend (some also cater or take large advance orders).

Sure, you can tell yourself you’re going there for “lunch,” but we all know you’re going to get a brownie. Or a lemon bar. Or a cookie. Or one of each. We’re not judging. These eateries also have bread and sandwiches.
